How can the fund help?
The fund can help in the following ways:
- Regular financial support
- Elderly members or their dependents may be eligible to receive a weekly grant if their income does not allow them to maintain basic living standards.
- Loans
To aid with unexpected financial crisis.
Grants may be provided to cover an unexpected crisis caused by serious illness or accident.
- Special Needs Grant for Elderly or Disabled
One-off payments to aid with problems not covered by the State, i.e. replacement of broken TVs or household equipment.
Offering financial help to elderly members who would otherwise be unable to afford a holiday.
How can you help?
Members can donate a one-off sum of money, a percentage of their PRS royalties or choose to donate their royalty payments to the society in their will.
